12 Jun Fruit gummies
Kids (and adults of course) love eating these jiggly treats. Grass fed gelatin contains amino acids that are identical to the protein that is found in skin, nails, hair, bones, cartilage, and joints. Coconut water is a great way to get in electrolytes if you or the kids are running around on a hot day. Kombucha provides good bacteria and plenty of B-vitamins. Fruit juice is the sweeter option but when 100% natural, provides plenty of vitamins especially combined with the real fruit. For the mango flavoured gummies, I splurged and used 100% mango juice, and luckily GT’s makes delicious mango kombucha that can be used too. Go wild and think of flavour combinations your eaters will love – gummies are yummy in the tummy!

Instructions
- Bring out your favourite molds - I use silicon moulds that are either meant to be ice cube trays or mini muffins but there is also specific gummy moulds out there. Alternatively, use a shallow baking dish that will fit in the fridge.
- Purée the berries or mango with an immersion blender or in a blender.
- Combine juice or coconut water in a pot with honey, whisk over low heat until honey is melted. Pour in the puréed fruit and continue to whisk until combined.
- Slowly add the gelatin a couple TBSP at a time, whisking until dissolved. Continue until the gelatin is all used up.
- Once the gelatin and liquid are thoroughly mixed, pour the mixture into a 4-cup measuring cup with a spout.
- Pour into moulds or baking dish and place in fridge for an hour.
