Instructions
  1. To make the Almond Mylk: Soak almonds for about 8 hours. I usually soak the almonds overnight so that I can make a fresh batch the following morning.
  2. Drain and rinse the almonds and put them in a high speed blender.
  3. Add the sea salt, and water to the 4 cup mark, and blend well for about 2 minutes approximately.
  4. Drain through a nut milk bag (or cheese cloth) and put the milk in a sealer jar. Almond mylk will last for 4 days.
  5. NOTE: the pulp is either discarded, or used in dehydrated recipes like crackers or bars.
  6. For each medicinal Mylk recipe, combine all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend for 1-2 minutes. These mylks will keep in the fridge in a sealer jar for up to four days. The liquid does separate so give them a good shake when ready to drink.
  7. For an extra creamy mylk, feel free to substitute one cup of almond mylk with 1 cup of canned coconut mylk.
